What exam do I pass to sell annuities in Florida?
Looking to start selling on my own…what would be the best way to start this process?? I want to be a CFP or advisor?? thanks
Depends on what annuities you want to sell. You’ll need a Seies 6 and Series 63 lic to sell variable annuities along with mutual funds and variable Life insurance. Find a broker dealer too. You’ll need just a Life license to sell fixed and/or indexed annuities.
As far as a CFP, that’s not a license but a designation. To get this designation you take a course, mostly online , to get continuing education (CE) credits. All it turns out to be is a few letters you get to put after your name on a business card – worthless.
