After filing and recieving wrongful death case?
If you complete the wrongful death suit, and you have the money from the settlement, is there any way to still go after the defendant and have a different settlement?
My Dad and Grandfather died in a crash, the person who was driving was apparently sleeping and sped through a stop sign. They both had died that day. Well, as for the wrongful death case, I decided to settle on the proposed amount after explaining what life was like before the accident, how he supported me, as the case was spilt in ways that proceeded a percentage to my Aunt and the other portion to me. Well this company is a pretty big transfering company based in the Twin Cities… I don’t feel like I’ve gotten the resolve and even respect over this case. Can I still file for a suit?
