How long do companies have to pay a settlement?
I had a very strong sexual harassment case from a former employer (I was fired for squeeling).. and they know they are in trouble, so they agreed to a mediation. Once we have reached a number for the settlement in this mediation, how long does the company have to pay me my cut? Or if by chance (i dont think it will happen), if they get a structured settlement, how long do they have to start paying it?
The timing of the payment would be part of what is negotiated at the mediation.
